The Cincinnati Choral Society will present “Come Live with Me and Be My Love” (A Concert of Love Songs and Dances) at three performances: March 11, 12, & 13. “Liebeslieder Walzer” (Op. 52) by Johannes Brahms will be the feature of this concert series. The 40 voice auditioned chorus, under the direction of Philip Clary, will collaborate with dancers from Pones Inc., under the leadership of Kim Popa.

This will be a unique performance of the love song waltzes because the Pones will dance while CCS sings! In addition to the Brahms, these concerts will include “Five Hebrew Love Songs” (Whitacre), “Birthday Madrigals” (Rutter), “Three Scottish Folk Songs” (arr. Wilberg), “Love Lost” (Sjolund), and “An Evening Song” (Cincinnati composer, Howard Helvey),
