SAVE THE DATE: The 2017 Partners-in-Ministry-in–Liberia (PIMIL) Eighth Annual International Luncheon and Silent Auction Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, July 22. The event will be at St. John’s, Worthington, 700 High Street, Worthington, Ohio from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The theme is “Bearing Fruit That Endures,” based on John 15:16. This year’s inspirational speaker is the Rev. Dr. Lee Anne Reat, Vicar of St. John’s, Columbus.
The goal is to raise $10,000. PIMIL is sponsoring 156 students, including 65 Ebola orphans. The goal is to support 100 Ebola orphans because there are over 2000 Ebola orphans in the country. This fundraiser is the primary way by which PIMIL raises funds to support the students in Liberia.
The International Luncheon is a family affair, with exciting intercultural and educational activities that include “hands on” participating in an African drum circle for the children. Delicious American and Liberian foods!
