MARCC hosts first responders’ panel on gun violence, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27

Following the mass shooting at Cincinnati’s Cameo Club in March, learn from public health and emergency responders about the impact of gun violence. This is part of the Let’s Talk, Let’s Listen sessions organized by Cincinnati’s interfaith coalition, the Metropolitan Area Religious Coalition of Cincinnati, to model how people of faith can productively discuss divisive issues.

The panelists are Cincinnati Health Department Assistant Director Dr. Camille Jones, Rashid Abdullah, outreach worker of the Cincinnati Initiative to Stop Violence (CIRV), and an EMS representative from the Cincinnati Fire Department.

The program is co-sponsored by Greater Anderson Promotes Peace at Mt Washington Baptist Church, 2021 Sutton Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45230. Please RSVP to MARCC by Wednesday, April 26 so we can plan dinner: 513.721.4843 or marcc@marcconline.com
