JUBILATE is an annual liturgy & music conference for the Diocese of Southern Ohio. Jubilate 2018 will be held at Procter Center on Saturday, January 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The focus for this year’s gathering is the Easter Vigil.

We’ll have practical workshops and talks on how to start such a service, improve the one you have, and gain deeper familiarity with this central worship event in the life of the Christian year – God’s liberation from darkness into light, from death into eternal life.

We warmly welcome ecumenical conversation partners, music directors, seminary students and teachers, pastors, musicians, and anyone who might grow from this gathering.

Our guest speakers will be the Rt. Rev. Dr. Neil Alexander, Dean of the School of Theology at the University of the South (Sewanee, TN) and former Episcopal bishop of Atlanta, and Ellen Johnston, Director of the Center for Liturgy and Music at Virginia Theological Seminary (Alexandria, VA), a deeply experienced music director and worship planner. The Rt. Rev. Thomas E. Breidenthal, bishop of Southern Ohio, will also moderate a concluding panel.

Registration is online at http://dsojubilate.org. The $10 registration fee includes lunch.
