The 3nd Annual Live Nativity at St. Paul’s, Oakwood, will be presented Sunday, Dec. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the green space at Far Hills and Dixon, next to the church. Parish members will recreate the roles of Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, town folk and the Three Kings, as Bethlehem comes alive – a witness to the birth of our Savior. The crèche scene will include live animals, thanks to Learning Tree Farm, and beautiful lights! Warm beverages and treats will be served, carolers will fill the space with song and winter campfires will keep you warm!

The Christmas Shop, held inside the church, has a full host of vendors this year, including some favorites from previous years and new artisans with new products. Here are just some of the gifts shopper will find on December 17 from 6 – 8 pm: Rwandan jewelry, fabric-covered bracelets, beaded necklaces and clothing, children’s books, greeting cards, knitted hat and scarf sets, cat & dog treats, small zipper purses, hand-crafted ceramics, earrings and confections of all kinds! Everything you need for those last minute purchases. Proceeds go to support the Youth Mission Project!

In case of inclement weather, the Live Nativity & Christmas Shop will be rescheduled. Announcements will be made on television, radio and, of course, through the church website!
