Church leaders are invited to attend Church Leadership in a New Missionary Age, part of the Diocese of Kentucky’s 2018 Brennan Lecture Series, on March 2-3 at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Louisville. The Rt. Rev. Charles “Andy” Doyle is the featured speaker.
Doyle is the ninth and current Bishop of the Diocese of Texas. His self-described autobiography is: “Met Jesus on pilgrimage, still walking.” Bishop Doyle’s focus for ministry is reconciliation, evangelism, and service. His writings include: Unabashedly Episcopalian: The Good News of the Episcopal Church (2012), Church: A Generous Community Amplified for the Future (2015), and most recently Jesus Heist (2017), along with several other books.
