Invite Welcome Connect is a transformational ministry that equips and empowers clergy and lay leaders to cultivate intentional practices of evangelism, hospitality, and connectedness rooted in the Gospel imperative to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Discover effective ways to welcome guests and grow your church!
Live out Jesus’ great commission to “Go and make disciples” through practices in relational evangelism, hospitality, and connectedness. Come and be trained in this transformative ministry method: Invite Welcome Connect, created and presented by Mary Parmer, Director of Invite Welcome Connect, Beecken Center of the School of Theology in Sewanee, TN. A diocesan-wide training opportunity will be held on Saturday, March 10 at Church of the Redeemer, Hyde Park.
Clergy and lay leaders from congregations and dioceses across the country have attended this dynamic training and report measurable results after using the materials. This ministry has brought new energy and spirit to congregations – for the benefit of new and long-standing members; it has sustained real growth where the deep practices of Invite Welcome Connect are followed.
Participating congregations have reflected a greater sense of connection to their mission and to the vocation of their members and an enduring ability to reach out effectively to their neighborhoods.
The training event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. There is no cost for the training, but registration is required. Register at http://diosohio.org/events/event/invite-welcome-connect/.
