How do you discern what God is calling you to do?  It’s a big question – one of the biggest we ever face – and it’s difficult to know where to start. If you’re curious to learn more, please join the diocesan Commission on Ministry for a day-long workshop on lay discernment called Listening to Our Lives. The workshop will be held Saturday, October 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Procter Center. It will be a fun and thoughtful day of Bible study, small group discussions, and activities to help you think differently about your journey of faith.  We will give you tools to get you started – and the support of a like-minded community to help you on your way.

Space is limited to 50 people, so please register now. You can register on-line at http://diosohio.org/events/event/listening-lives-day-lay-discernment/ or by contacting Sherri Martin, Executive Assistant to the Canons, at the diocesan office at smartin@diosohio.org or 513. 421.0311 ext. 105.   The registration fee is $25 per person to help offset the cost of food and supplies.  Scholarships are available. Also, if traveling to Procter for a 9 a.m. start is a challenge for you, we can also help you with arrangements to spend Friday night at Procter. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact Spencer Pugh, the chair of the Commission on Ministry, at spencerpugh@twc.com.
