How do you discern what God is calling you to do? On October 13, the Commission on Ministry will host at Procter a day-long working focused on helping you wrestle with this big question. It will be a fun and thoughtful day of Bible study, small group discussions, and activities to help you think differently about your journey of faith. Note that this workshop is NOT about helping people discern a call to ordained ministry. It will be focused on discernment for the rest of us.
Space is limited to 50 people, so please register now. You can register online at http://diosohio.org/events/event/listening-lives-day-lay-discernment/ or by contacting Sherri Martin, Executive Assistant to the Canons, at the diocesan office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 513.421.0311 ext. 105. The registration fee is $25 per person to help offset the cost of food and supplies. Scholarships are available.
Also, if traveling to Procter for a 9 a.m. start is a challenge for you, we can also help you with arrangements to spend Friday night at Procter. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact Spencer Pugh, the Chair of the Diocesan Commission on Ministry at email@example.com.
