The Episcopal Public Policy Network (EPPN) is a grassroots network of Episcopalians across the country dedicated to carrying out the Baptismal Covenant call to “strive for justice and peace” through the active ministry of public policy advocacy.
Explore EPPN resources to better understand current public policy issues. Learn more about official church policies that support our advocacy positions.
Build relationships with elected and government officials with guidance from the EPPN. Learn how to have the greatest impact on issues that matter to you.
Sign-up for strategically-timed action alerts on critical legislation and policy initiatives at the federal level. Alerts provide instruction for contacting government officials, as well as sample letters or call scripts.
EPPN has selected Ohio as one of their pilot states for localized alerts. Those who wish to participate in this program should sign up at advocacy.episcopalchurch.org.
Please consider joining the alerts to enable the members of the diocese to proactively effect the current legislation which addresses priorities of The Episcopal Church, the Executive Committee, and General Convention.
In addition, the weekly Public Policy column in e-Connections will contain the current alerts published by EPPN as the first entry.
