Training for new Lay Worship Leaders, and for people previously licensed whose licenses have lapsed, will be offered twice in the fall of 2019: September 7 and 28 at St. Barnabas, Montgomery (for the Cincinnati area), and October 12 and 26 at St. Philip’s, Columbus. You must attend both days of training, plus complete both Safe Church training and Anti-racism training to be licensed as a Lay Worship Leader. (Learn more here)

Each training group will include 8-20 people.  If fewer than 8 people have registered by 10 days before the first session, the training will be postponed or cancelled, so timely registration is important. Sessions run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Cost is $30 per session and lunch is included in the registration fee.

Training for experienced Lay Worship Leaders who need to renew their licenses for 2020 will be held at the Procter Center on November 9, 2019. Training will begin at 10 a.m., and lunch is included in the $30 registration fee. Click here to register.

Those whose licenses have lapsed in previous years, and those who have not officiated at Morning Prayer at least once during each year of their expiring license, should attend the two-day training for new Lay Worship Leaders (see above)
