We’re sorry to see the end of summer near, but we’ll still be jammin’ to some great music at St. James, Westwood, on Saturday, August 24. The artists for our final concert event of the season are Sassafras Grass and Skirt and Boots.
Sassafras Grass is friends coming together to put their hearts into each song, hoping to convey an emotion or experience that sometimes can only be conveyed in a song. They play Americana, Old-Country and Bluegrass tunes. Skirt and Boots performs Americana/bluegrass/folk music featuring guitar, violin, bass, banjo and mandolin & harmony vocals.
Jammin’ at the James is a (FREE!) family-friendly summer concert series sponsored by St. James Episcopal Church in partnership with the Gamble Nippert YMCA and Westwood Works. The event is held from 5 to 8 p.m. on the front lawn of St. James, Westwood, 3207 Montana Avenue in Cincinnati. Free food and beverages are provided, and there are a lots of activities for the kids.
